Philip Gay

Philip Gay is a Project Manager for the Department of Education and Media Producer with Tufts University producing training faculty and students in the use of both video and creating content for online learning. Prior to Tufts, Philip produced content for WGBH Educational Productions and PBS, creating content for PBS Learning Media. Philip has produced and directed both local and national productions for PBS including Antiques Roadshow, Ballroom Dancing, and segments for Frontline. In 2006 he received a Cine Golden Eagle Award for producing Two Spirits Gallery, a video focusing on the art of Alaska's recovering addicts and homeless population and also relieved New England Emmys for musical and children's programming.Philip holds a BS in Communications from Temple University and a Master of Arts from Harvard Extension School.

Philip Gay is a digital media producer creating video content for higher education. He has contributed to PBS Learning Media and Learner.org with projects about Teaching Social Studies, Misunderstood Minds, and Native American art, culture, and science. He performs on keyboards and flute in his community north of Boston.

Teach Flutes is a gateway of online courses for all learners interested in mindfulness, meditation, and improvisation using indigenous melodies on the recorder and Native American Flute. Beginning players are encouraged to explore the first course, Improvisational Pathways to Inner Peace.
